The Digital Branding Starter

Three quick steps to get clear before you post again.

Part One

What Do You Want to Be Known For

Sit with these before you touch the headline.

  • What do people already come to you for advice on, before you ever posted anything?
  • What's the lesson you find yourself repeating in conversations, or something that you're passionate about?
  • If someone only remembers one thing about your expertise, what should it be?
Part Two

Revise Your Headline

Most headlines list a single title, but a strong headline tells a stranger why to click on your profile to keep reading. More specifically, who you are, why your insight is valuable, and what makes you different from every other person like you is what you want to share.

I help ______________ do ______________ so they can ______________.

To be clear, it doesn't have to be this formula. But it's a great way to get clear on your value proposition and then select the keywords you want to highlight.
Ex: Sales Executive, People-first leader, etc.

Part Three

Five Post Ideas From Your Week

Don't think you need a content calendar. You need five minutes to brainstorm on this list. Sharing your insights digitally is about being authentic and relevant.

  • A decision you made this week and why
  • A question someone asked you that surprised you
  • A mistake you made early in your career and what it taught you
  • Something you disagree with in your field
  • A win you're proud of, for yourself or your team

Now that you have the ideas flowing, draft a concise, clear post that sounds like you, not AI, and press post.
